Terms of Service

Effective date: July 2, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the DidactIA website (didactia-app.com), our mobile and desktop applications, and the related services (together, the “Services”). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. The Services

DidactIA is an AI-powered educational platform for teachers. It helps you create, share and use teaching resources: AI-generated documents and exercises, AI chat assistants, interactive quizzes, educational tools, and a marketplace for educational content.

2. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account, and keep it up to date.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
  • The Services are intended for teachers and education professionals. You must have reached the age of majority in your country to create an account.

3. Credits and Payments

  • Certain features consume credits. Credits are purchased through our payment provider CinetPay and are credited to your account once the payment is confirmed.
  • Credits are personal, non-transferable and have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged or refunded for money, except where required by applicable law.
  • If a purchase fails but your account is debited, contact us at contact@didactia-app.com and we will investigate and correct the balance where appropriate.
  • Prices and credit packs may change at any time; changes never affect credits already purchased.

4. AI-Generated Content

  • The Services use artificial intelligence to generate content on your request. AI output may contain errors or inaccuracies: you must review AI-generated content before using it, especially for teaching or assessment purposes.
  • You keep the rights you hold in the prompts and documents you submit, and you may use the content generated for you in your educational activities.
  • You are responsible for how you use AI-generated content and for ensuring it complies with the rules of your school or institution.

5. Your Content

  • You retain ownership of the content you create or upload (documents, quizzes, messages, marketplace submissions). You grant DidactIA a limited license to host, process and display this content solely to operate the Services.
  • For content you submit to the DidactIA marketplace in response to a tender, the specific terms of the tender (including payment and transfer of rights upon validation) apply in addition to these Terms.
  • You must not upload content that is unlawful, infringes third-party rights, or contains personal data of others without their consent.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or other users’ accounts;
  • interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Services;
  • scrape, resell or redistribute the Services without our written permission;
  • use the Services to generate content that is harmful, discriminatory or deceptive.

7. Intellectual Property

The Services, including their design, software, logos and documentation, are the property of DidactIA and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use the DidactIA name or trademarks.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time (see our account deletion page). We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, with notice where practicable. Upon termination, unused credits are forfeited except where a refund is required by applicable law.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DidactIA disclaims all warranties, and our total liability for any claim arising out of the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Effective date” above indicates when they were last revised. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Services or by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Services after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Contact
